The TEDC's 2018 Winter Conference will be held at the Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio. The two and one-half day event will feature numerous general and breakout sessions on economic development topics and trends, Peer Group Roundtables and networking receptions. The conference will kick-off Wednesday and will conclude on Friday with the TEDC's board of director's meeting. 

TEDC will host a Workshop: What Every Economic Developer Should Know About Small Business Financing on the first day of our 2018 Winter Conference on February 21st, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Workshop: What Every Economic Developer Should Know About Small Business Financing

This workshop will be held at the Westin Hotel on the first day of the Winter Conference from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Separate registration of $200.00 per person is required for this workshop.
 
The workshop will be led by the ever-popular Vin DiCara, who has led a number of workshops for the TEDC over the past several years. 
 
This progam is designed to assist economic developers who need to know more about small business financing. Participants will learn to ask the right questions of business borrowers and to recommend the correct lending products for their clients' needs. Emphasis will also be placed on the process that small businesses undertake on a regular basis when they make financial decisions.
 
This workshop is a must for folks interested in supporting small business development and entrepreneurship in their communities and regions.

Registration and Payment Policy:  All registrations are to be made online. Registrations will not be accepted by mail, email, telephone or fax. Payments in advance are encouraged, unless specified to be paid prior to the event.  Invoices are required to be paid within 30 days following the event. Payments may be made in the form of check or online via credit card.  Purchase orders will not be accepted as a form of payment.

Cancellation, Refund and No-Show Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing via email to TEDC staff at tedcinfo@texasedc.org. Cancellations received in writing on or before February 15, 2018, and which payment has been received, will be refunded via check following the event. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after February 13, 2018. A registered attendee who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the event, is considered a No-Show and is not eligible for a refund. A registered attendee who does not submit a written notice of cancellation or attend the event is still responsible for the registration fee.
