About TEDC Events

The TEDC hosts three conferences per year.  In Odd-numbered years, we host a Legislative Conference in February in Austin, a Mid-Year Conference in June and the Annual Conference in October.  In Even-numbered years, we host a Spring Conference in March, a Mid-Year Conference in June and the Annual Conference in October.  Conference locations are located in different areas of the state each year in order to reach our member’s geographic regions.  TEDC Conferences are a great resource for learning from economic development experts on issues and trends, as well as from your peers through our Peer Group Roundtables.  Each conference also has several networking opportunities.  Recipients of the annual Community Economic Development Award are recognized at the Annual Conference, and recipients of the Workforce Excellence Award and the Economic Excellence Recognition program are recognized at the Mid-Year Conference.  TEDC committees also meet at the Legislative, Spring and Mid-Year Conferences.  TEDC strives to include quality speakers and provide dynamic programs for all of our conferences.
