The TEDC's new Future Leaders Training Program (FLT) Webinar will be on Thursday, May 27th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. FLT Webinar registrants are required to also register and attend the Mid-Year Conference.  The topic is The Best Time to Prepare for a Crisis

Session description:

With the many battles of 2020 and 2021, including the COVID-19situation in the United States and the challenges because of the Winter Storm Uri, is your organization prepared for the ultimate endurance test? When times are challenging, do you know who from your team to lean on that will be the oracle to proactively guide youth rough? Is that you? Are you prepared? Or does your organization lead more through its reactions, fears and ultimately analysis paralysis than by its strengths?

FYI -- Did you know that the word “crisis” is derived from the Greek word “krisis”, meaning opportunity, or turning point? A new norm in the global economy will surely occur as a derivative of this. However, this will not be the last disaster our organizations encounter.

Once this emergency is over, what will you do to proactively prepare for the next krisis? Will you learn from your areas of most challenge this time to work and become stronger because of it? The sustainability of our organizations and teams will require it.
