Mesquite’s economic development landscape continues to grow and prosper as thousands of new homes are on the horizon and companies choose Mesquite to create hundreds of new jobs in the DFW region. To foster more economic growth, the City of Mesquite’s Economic Development Department has launched a new website for investors, developers and businesses. The site, www.MesquiteEcoDev.com , went live on April 19.
City of Mesquite Economic Development Director David Witcher said, “This site will offer prospective clients access to vast amounts of data, guidance, real estate information, demographic and workforce analysis as well as other details. Once they see all that we have to offer, we are confident they will choose Mesquite as a place to do business. In addition to data that a prospective new business would be seeking, there is a wealth of information for existing Mesquite businesses. The new website also features success stories and narratives about Mesquite corporations, business owners and small business entrepreneurs as well as videos and photography that captures the spirit of Mesquite’s emerging economic landscape.
Witcher shared that “business leaders and developers will be able to register for the Business Retention and Expansion newsletter, a variety of workshops and other economic development programs produced by the City of Mesquite.”
