Economic development is not supposed to work in smaller communities. The infrastructure is lacking. So is the workforce. There aren’t enough financial resources. Those are the key messages we hear as economic developers about where economic development is happening in today’s economy. It seems to be all about the major tech hubs and the urban districts attracting Millennials. But that is only half of the story. Join us on October 23rd for an inspiring and educating conversation about the other side of the story. You’ll learn about creative approaches to community branding, placemaking, and even tech-focused business recruitment generating real economic results in smaller communities. By attending this webinar, you’ll be armed with new strategies for positioning your community to stand out more from the crowd, better define your community’s unique advantages, and promote your assets to attract new business investment and talent.
