Please join us for the TEDC’s 2021 Annual Conference, October 13-15 in downtown Fort Worth, Texas and help us celebrate the TEDC’s 60th Diamond Anniversary!

The three-day event will feature a great lineup of industry experts discussing important economic development topics. The conference will also include discussion panels of economic development professionals sharing their knowledge on experience. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to learn, network and engage with your peers in economic development.

The conference will also include a golf tournament, exhibit hall, two receptions, a networking lounge, the Community Economic Development Award Luncheon and a PAC Auction. To celebrate the TEDC’s 60th Anniversary there will be a special reception on Thursday, all attendees will receive a TEDC Anniversary lapel pin and a free gift for visiting all exhibitors.

TEDC 2021 Annual Conference Event Protocols – Subject to Change

1.     TEDC will follow the guidelines offered by the CDC, which currently include wearing masks in indoor spaces for all individuals, regardless of their vaccination status. Attendees are required to wear masks while attending and participating in the TEDC event, unless actively eating or drinking at meal functions. We will monitor CDC guidelines and will adjust our requirements as they make changes.

2.     Registrants are encouraged to be fully-vaccinated to attend the TEDC event in person. We ask that if you are unvaccinated and/or plan on staying that way prior to our event, that you utilize the live streaming option as a way of minimizing your possible exposure and/or the exposure of our attendees.

3.     At this time, meeting space for sessions will be set for 3’ distance between seats.

4.     At this time, most meals will be served either outdoors on The Terrace or indoors divided between multiple spaces for distancing.

5.     A live stream option will be available to view presentations online.

6.     Registrants are encouraged to not attend the TEDC event in person if they are ill or have been recently exposed to COVID-19. Those individuals have the option of either viewing the presentations via live stream or requesting a full refund of their registration fee, if paid.

7.     Attendees that become ill with COVID-19 or have been recently exposed to COVID-19 while attending the TEDC event, are to leave the venue and promptly notify TEDC staff.

8.     The TEDC cancellation policy will be more flexible in light of the current conditions for hosting live events.

9.     Additional safety protocols may be put in place, or current protocols may be changed to adjust to the CDC guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the status of the COVID-19 pandemic between now and the event.


The three-day program will begin on Wednesday, October 13th and conclude around 12:30 PM on Friday, October 15th. The Annual Golf Tournament is Tuesday afternoon, October 12th.

The Annual Conference includes keynote presentations, breakout sessions, panel discussions, the recognition of the 2021 Community Economic Development Award, a Future Leaders Training Seminar, an Exhibit Hall, numerous networking opportunities including two receptions, a board meeting and many opportunities to network with your peers.

Amount: $80/per player (includes green fees, cart, range balls, box lunch and 1 drink ticket).

Registration & Payment Policy

All registrations are to be made online. Registrations will not be accepted by mail, email, telephone or fax. Payments in advance are encouraged, unless specified to be paid prior to the event. Invoices are required to be paid within 30 days following the event. Payments may be made in the form of check or online via credit card. Purchase orders will not be accepted as a form of payment.

Cancellation, Refund and No-Show Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing via email to TEDC staff. Cancellations received in writing on or before (10 business days), and which payment has been received, will be refunded via check following the event. All refunds will be charged a $35.00 administration cancellation fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after (10 business days). A registrant who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the event, is considered a No-Show and is not eligible for a refund. A registrant who does not submit a written notice of cancellation or attend the event is still responsible for the registration fee.
