Economic Development Sales Tax Workshops are designed specifically for Economic Development Corporation Board Members and local elected officials of Type A and Type B Corporations. The workshops include information about economic and community development, permissible projects under the law and any recent changes to the Economic Development Sales Tax Law. Workshop attendees will receive Open Meetings Act and Public Information Act certification as a part of this course. Each workshop includes a Q&A portion with the speakers as well.
The ED Sales Tax Workshop is the required training under the Texas Local Government Code Section 502.101 governing Type A and Type B EDCs.
The cost of registration for the workshops is $225/per person.
