Please join us live in Frisco, Texas, June 9th and 10th for the TEDC’s 2021 Mid-Year Conference. The program includes twelve (12) presentations, four (4) discussion forums, recognition of the 2021 Workforce Excellence Award, a Reception and a Networking Lounge. The conference has been condensed to two days and we will follow safety protocols to do our best to ensure a safe environment for all attendees. 

We are excited, as many of you are as well as evidenced in the recent survey, to be hosting a live event again. Please note that although our Mid-Year Conference will be in a live format, this conference may not quite feel like the TEDC events of the past. The TEDC will follow CDC Guidelines for events to do our best to ensure a safe environment for all attendees. 

For those of you who do not wish to attend the live event in Frisco, Texas, there is a limited Virtual Live Stream option. The live stream option will provide access to view all presentations hosted in The Star ABC Ballroom only. There will not be a live stream of the Discussion Forums or the Networking Lounge. 

The TEDC encourages all attendees to be fully vaccinated prior to attending this live event. All attendees, presenters, TEDC staff and hotel personnel that service our conference are required to to wear masks during all sessions and networking events. The meeting rooms will be designed with socially-distanced seating.

Please register as soon as possible. Online registration is required to attend this event and online registration will close on June 1st.

The conference program will begin at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, June 9th and conclude by 3:30 PM on Thursday, June 10th. The opening session will be at 9:30 AM on Wednesday. There are twelve (12) presentations, four (4) discussion forums, a networking lounge and a networking reception on Wednesday. The recipients of the TEDC's 2021 Workforce Excellence Award will be recognized on Thursday morning following breakfast.


All conference presentations and networking will be held onsite at the Omni Hotel in Frisco, Texas.

The TEDC's discounted room block rate at the Omni is currently $185.00/night+tax. There are a limited number of rooms available in the TEDC's room block. The room block rate will expire on May 18, 2021.

Registration & Payment Policy

All registrations are to be made online. Registrations will not be accepted by mail, email, telephone or fax. Payments in advance are encouraged, unless specified to be paid prior to the event. Invoices are required to be paid within 30 days following the event. Payments may be made in the form of check or online via credit card. Purchase orders will not be accepted as a form of payment.

Cancellation, Refund and No-Show Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing via email to TEDC staff. Cancellations received in writing on or before (10 business days), and which payment has been received, will be refunded via check following the event. All refunds will be charged a $35.00 administration cancellation fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after (10 business days). A registrant who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the event, is considered a No-Show and is not eligible for a refund. A registrant who does not submit a written notice of cancellation or attend the event is still responsible for the registration fee.
