Abilene, Texas – After years of working with AbiMar Foods, the DCOA has joined efforts to spur their ability to expand
their warehouse capacity. This is an opportunity for the company to purchase a building that they currently lease from
the Development Corporation.
The real estate transaction for the business retention project of AbiMar Foods was approved by City Council on April 9, 2020.
This approval enables AbiMar Foods to purchase the 187,000 sqft. warehouse facility and the adjacent 9.95 acres located on
Vine Street in North Abilene.

AbiMar Foods, Inc., manufactures cookies that are distributed throughout the United States and South America. The company
has maintained a strong growth pattern since 2010, creating in excess of 500 jobs. AbiMar Foods’ customer base is diverse,
