Campaign set to kickstart revenue for retailers in Wichita Falls

The Chamber has partnered with Downtown Wichita Falls Development to create a campaign for retailers promoting online sales for three days in May.

“Kickstart the Falls” is May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Participating merchants agree to provide speci c discounts on each day which are only available through online sales and promotions. Customers can call in their orders or purchase online and pick up curbside or have shipped/delivered. Resources will be available to help guide retailers to set up social commerce on their Facebook pages for those without an online store along with tips to promote themselves.

Who can participate? Retail Stores in the area (with or without storefront)

Why? The goal is to kickstart retail sales during limited occupancy orders from the State. Merchants offering online/social

media sales with curbside pickup will help ll the gap and increase sales.

How does it work? Each participating merchant agrees to offer an online-exclusive sale each day of the event on an item, anything in the store, etc.

May 21st - 30% Off; May 22nd - 20% Off; May 23rd - 10% Off

How will it be promoted? All participating merchants will be listed on a webpage which will be located on the Chamber’s & Downtown Development’s Website.

The event will be promoted all 3 days on each organization’s Facebook and other social platforms.
