Fortune 500 Company Expanding to Borderplex

EL PASO – October 5, 2020 – Today, The Borderplex Alliance, the City of El Paso and El Paso County, announced The TJX Companies, Inc. plans to open a distribution center in El Paso. TJX is the leading off-price apparel and home fashions retailer in the U.S. and worldwide.

TJX expects to build a distribution center that may be up to two million square feet at a total investment of approximately $150 million, and create approximately 1,000 full-time jobs in the Borderplex region once the facility is fully operational.

Dee Margo, Mayor of El Paso, said, "This announcement is further proof of my commitment to creating a more prosperous, competitive, and economically vibrant El Paso.
