SEDCO Receives the 2021 Impact Award

The Sherman Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) has received the 2021 Impact Award in the Technology category from Business Facilities magazine for the Texas Instruments 300-mm semiconductor wafer facilities project. This recognition comes as part of Business Facilities’ 2021 Deal of the Year competition. According to Business Facilities, the 2021 competition brought in a record number of applications that were reviewed by a committee of site consultants.

To apply for this competition, SEDCO submitted an application and a narrative detailing the partnership and efforts of the City of Sherman, Grayson County, Sherman Independent School District, Grayson College, and SEDCO to retain and expand Texas Instruments in Sherman, Texas.
