BOERNE KENDALL COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OFFICERS

March, 31, 2022 BOERNE, TX—The Boerne Kendall County Economic Development Corporation (BKCEDC) hosted its Annual Members’ Meeting & Luncheon on March 30, 2022 at The Bevy Hotel in Boerne, TX. Approximately 75 BKCEDC Members and guests attended the luncheon which featured Dr. Erik Pages, President of EntreWorks Consulting, as the keynote speaker where he discussed the importance of entrepreneurship-led economic development, specifically in rural and small communities.

The BKCEDC also announced its Officers of the Board of Directors for the upcoming year. Bill Hetherington of BEC will again serve as Chair, Phil Hunke, of Hill Country Square as Vice-Chair, Dakota Durden of Grit Co. as Secretary, Jonathan Collins, of Valcor Commercial Real Estate as Treasurer, and Kathy Estes as Past-Chair.

The BKCEDC is a 501(c)(6) public-private organization that is supported by the City of Boerne, Kendall County, and over 70 private businesses. The Mission of the BKCEDC is “to promote business opportunities that will strengthen and grow a vibrant and diverse economic future for Kendall County.”
