Plano's Sally Bane Announces Retirement

Sally Bane has led Plano’ s economic development team with decades of experience. In the last 16 years, Bane and her team have been involved in 149 corporate relocation and expansion projects resulting in over $3 Billion in Plano tax base improvements and over 45,000 jobs.

In serving the City of Plano for over 25 years, Bane has had a tremendous impact on shaping the community. Bane has worked tirelessly to promote Plano as a business destination and she and her team have received national recognition from the business sector and the economic development profession for their efforts.

Effective July 7th, 2022, Sally Bane will retire from the City of Plano. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
