(Dallas Business Journal, October 27, 2022) CheckSammy is rolling the dice on a headquarters move to Addison.

The waste removal, recycling and sustainability services firm is shifting its North American base of operations to The Madison, located at 15851 Dallas Parkway within the Quorum/Bent Tree submarket.

CheckSammy moved its headquarters from Nevada to Dallas-Fort Worth in 2021 with three local employees. The firm has since ballooned to more than 90 employees.

“When planning our HQ relocation, we evaluated a number of potential locations across the United States and ultimately settled in on Dallas-Fort Worth because of its central location and access to high-quality employees," said Sam Scoten, CEO and cofounder of CheckSammy, in a prepared statement.

Representing CheckSammy in lease negotiations were Travis Boothe, Hanna Henley, and Robbie Baty of Cushman & Wakefield. Chris Andler and Michael Foster represented the property's landlord, Property Advisers Realty Inc.

CheckSammy will take down an entire floor with its lease totaling 22,549 square feet.

Henley said the company was looking to ensure its headquarters location provided a "sufficient labor pool to work with, a central location to accommodate commuting employees, and a building that encompassed an environment that aligned with their company culture.”

The lobby of The Madison has recently undergone a refurbishment. The building also includes in a 7,500-square-foot fitness center that features new equipment and locker rooms.
