Sweetwater Economic Development Announces New Ownership of Nolan County Plaza

Sweetwater Economic Development is excited to announce that Nolan County Plaza is under new ownership. Foraker Company, a commercial real estate brokerage, management and development company, has purchased and plans to renovate the plaza located at 1008-1108 E. Broadway in Sweetwater, Texas. Foraker Company has two signed leases with national brand retailers that plan to locate in the plaza.

Sweetwater Economic Development has partnered with Foraker Company by offering incentive funds to bring in national brand retailers. Once a space of no less than 10,000 square feet is occupied by a national brand retail tenant, Foraker Company will have access to incentive funds to assist with the rehabilitation of Nolan County Plaza.

The rehabilitation of Nolan County Plaza will bring jobs, infuse money into the local economy, and improve the quality of life for the residents of Sweetwater. This project would not have been possible without the partnership between The City of Sweetwater, Sweetwater Economic Development, and The Retail Coach, a retail consulting firm that has been hired to assist in retail recruitment. Additional press releases will be posted as more information becomes available on this project and the national brand retail tenants that plan to locate in Nolan County Plaza.
