New Mural Initiates the Redevelopment of Retail Center in Saginaw, Texas!
The Economic Development Department and Keep Saginaw Beautiful Committee joined forces on the "Art in the Community" project, recognizing the significant role of art in enhancing the vibrancy of our city. Public art reflects our society, enriches civic spaces, and adds uniqueness to our communities. It humanizes the built environment, bridging the past, present, and future.
Exciting news for Saginaw as the City Council greenlights funding for a mural at North Town Center, with residents supporting it through voluntary water bill donations. The mural graces the east wall of 1029 N. Saginaw Blvd, revitalizing the area and breathing new life into the community.
In Addition: The property owners' redevelopment plans for the Center promise a fresh look, including demolition, framing, painting, and new masonry veneer installations. This transformation will commence in late 2024, rejuvenating the property and uplifting the neighborhood.
