TEDC announces election of new board chair, new board treasurer, new board members, and recognizes members that have completed their board service
The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) at its Board Meeting on October 25, 2024, in Addison, Texas, recognized Kent Sharp, President of the Sherman Economic Development Corporation, as the 2025 Chair of the Board of Directors. Kent will serve as board chair effective October 25, 2024, through October 31, 2025. He has been a member of the TEDC’s Executive Committee since 2021.
The TEDC’s Nominating Committee nominated five individuals for election to the TEDC’s board of directors. The TEDC’s board officially elected these new board members for terms beginning October 25, 2024:
• Ashton Bellows
• Mona Ferguson
• Rush Harris
• Tom Manskey
• Amy Mueller
Carolyn Rowley, Director of Business Retention & Innovation, Lubbock Economic Development Alliance, was elected as Board Treasurer and is now in the rotation to be a future board chair of the Texas Economic Development Council.
The following board members were re-elected for another two-year term beginning October 25, 2024:

• Ashley Gossen
• Wayne Mansfield
• Kevin Shatley
• Terry Stokes
The following board members whose terms expired October 25, 2024, were recognized for their board leadership:
