Little Elm, TX - December 19, 2024

Little Elm's economic landscape is set to receive a significant boost with the recent announcement of two major retailers opening new locations in the area. Following the exciting news of Target's arrival on the Southwest corner of Ryan Spiritas Pkwy and US 380, the Little Elm Economic Development Corporation (LEEDC) is thrilled to also announce that Kroger will be opening its second location in the community on the Northwest corner of the same intersection.

Target, one of the nation's most beloved retail chains, will soon be opening a new store in

Little Elm. This addition will provide residents with convenient access to a wide range of

quality products, from groceries and household essentials to clothing, electronics, and more.

The new location will not only enhance the shopping experience for Little Elm residents, but it will also create a variety of employment opportunities for local workers, adding to the Town's growing job market. "Target's decision to invest in Little Elm is a testament to the strength and vitality of our community," said Jennette Espinosa, Executive Director of the Little Elm Economic Development Corporation. "This is a major win for our residents who will benefit from improved access to top-tier retail and convenience right in their own backyard." In addition to Target, the announcement of Kroger's new location is set to further elevate Little Elm as a prime destination for retail and commerce. Kroger, one of the largest supermarket chains in the country, will bring its signature selection of fresh groceries, health products, and household items to the Town, making it easier for residents living in West and North Little Elm to shop locally and reduce travel time for essential goods. "We're excited to welcome Kroger to Little Elm," said Espinosa. "This new store will help meet the growing demand for quality grocery options in our community while offering more job opportunities. As we continue to grow, these new businesses not only support our residents but also contribute to the economic vitality of our Town."

The arrival of Target and Kroger signals a strong upward trend in Little Elm's retail and

economic development. Both stores will create new jobs and attract additional investment to the area. Local businesses are expected to benefit from the increased foot traffic, which will enhance the overall economic activity in the community.

The LEEDC is committed to fostering sustainable growth and providing residents with more choices and better services. These retail expansions demonstrate Little Elm's appeal as a growing, vibrant community with a bright future ahead.
