TEDC Announces Graduates of the Future Leaders Training Program
The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC), at its Winter Conference in Austin, Texas, recognized five graduates of its Future Leaders Training Program. Referred to as the Flight Program (FLT), Casey Benson, Viking Filmworks; Maggie Cromeens, Cuero Development Corporation; Diane Drussell, Victoria Economic Development Corporation; William Lindsey, De Kalb Economic Development Corporation, and Danielle Sweat, City of Wolfforth were recognized for their completion of all requirements of the leadership program and for their commitment to leadership education.
The TEDC’s Future Leaders Training Program was established in 2019 with the mission of growing leaders within the TEDC and helping them build their presence within the TEDC. The program is built around the core values of Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Trust, Authenticity, Impact and Servant Leadership. To complete the FLT program, participants must attend six leadership seminars, attend at least one meeting of each of the nine TEDC open committees, join one TEDC committee each year they are participating in the program and attend six TEDC board meetings.
