Ametsa Packaging Announces Expansion, Adding 50 Jobs in Paris-Lamar CountyFebruary 26, 2026Paris, Texas—Ametsa Packaging, LLC is expanding its Paris operations with the addition of a new bottling line, representing a $2 million capital investment and the creation of up to 50 new jobs. The new line is scheduled to launch in Q2 2026.The expansion will focus on non-alcoholic beverage production, including electrolytes and hydrating drinks, flavored carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, and micro-sensitive products processed through a retort system. This addition complements Ametsa’s existing sweeteners packaging operations, which currently employ approximately 80 people at its 350,000-square-foot facility on the city’snorthwest side.“Our experience in growing our business lines in Paris and Lamar County has been extremely positive!”Ametsa’s chief executive officer, Carlos de Aldecoa, exclaimed. “Thanks to the support of the community, the Paris Economic Development Corporation team, and a great area workforce, the decision to increase our investment here was an easy decision.”Ametsa began operations in Paris in 2023, transforming the 350,000-square-foot industrial facility in toan active production site.
