City of Alton Launches 1 Million Cups Alton En Español to Support Local Entrepreneurs

Alton, TX — The Alton Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is proud to announce the launch of 1 Million Cups Alton En Español, a new monthly gathering designed to support entrepreneurs, connect innovators, and strengthen the local small business ecosystem.

1 Million Cups is a national program developed by the Kauffman Foundation that brings entrepreneurs and community members together over coffee to learn, share ideas, and build meaningful connections. The program provides a supportive platform where early-stage business owners can present their companies, receive constructive feedback, and engage with a network of peers and mentors.

1 Million Cups Alton En Español will meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. at the Arturo Galvan Sr. Development Center in Alton. The program is open to entrepreneurs, small business owners, students, community leaders, and anyone interested in supporting the growth of local businesses.

Each session will feature a local entrepreneur presenting their business, followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience. The goal is to foster collaboration and create a community where entrepreneurs can gain insight, build relationships, and access resources that help their businesses grow.
