PARIS, TX - The Paris Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) is proud to announce that Fusion Manufacturing has established a new agricultural equipment manufacturing facility in Lamar County on Highway 82 West. This development brings a $1.25 million investment to the region and is expected to create up to 40 new manufacturing jobs, with average wages ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 annually.
Owned by Benjamin and Edith Berg, Fusion Manufacturing specializes in producing high-quality steel livestock equipment for ranchers and agricultural operations. Their product line includes cattle gates, livestock panels, windbreak panels, and feeders. The Bergs are also stakeholders in Zenmac, a well-established Alberta-based agricultural equipment manufacturer serving the livestock industry, bringing deep industry expertise and proven operational experience to their new Lamar County venture. The Lamar County operation positions Fusion Manufacturing to meet the growing demand from customers across the United States.
"Establishing Fusion Manufacturing in Lamar County represents an exciting step forward for our company," said Benjamin and Edith Berg, owners of Fusion Manufacturing. "We are proud to invest in this community and look forward to building lasting relationships while delivering high-quality products to customers across the country. We also look forward to creating jobs in a safe and friendly environment and contributing to the long-term success of this region."
To support its market growth, Fusion Manufacturing has actively participated in agricultural trade shows this year, expanding its presence and building connections with new customers.
"Fusion Manufacturing's investment brings quality jobs and long-term opportunity to Lamar County,” said PEDC Chair Josh Bray. “Manufacturing is the backbone of this region, and their decision to build a facility here that serves the agricultural industry across the United States speaks to the strength of what Paris and Lamar County have to offer. This is exactly the kind of strategic growth we work to attract, and we are proud to welcome them to our community."
PEDC Executive Director Maureen Hammond added, “Benjamin and Edith Berg bring genuine entrepreneurial drive and deep industry expertise to Lamar County. The speed and focus with which they have moved to establish this facility and begin hiring reflects a company that is serious about building something lasting here. We are glad they chose Lamar County and look forward to watching Fusion Manufacturing grow."
The company is currently finalizing preparations at the facility and expects to begin production soon. Materials are already on-site, and job openings are listed on selectparistexas.com/job-listings for those interested in joining the Fusion Manufacturing team.
