BOERNE KENDALL COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OFFICERS

April 15, 2026  BOERNE, TX—The Boerne Kendall County Economic Development Corporation (BKCEDC) hosted its Annual Members’ Meeting on April 14, 2026 at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort. Over 75 Members and guests attended the luncheon which featured Commissioner Alex Meade, Texas Department of Transportation, as the keynote speaker.  Commissioner Meade gave a state-level perspective on the interconnectivity of transportation and economic development efforts of Texas, as well as the relationship between state and local efforts. BKCEDC President/CEO, Amy Story provided a forward-looking organizational update highlighting strong project momentum, strategic partnerships, and workforce-focused initiatives that are positioning Kendall County for sustainable, high-quality economic growth.

            The Boerne Kendall County Economic Development Corporation also announced its Executive Committee Officers of the Board of Directors for the upcoming year. Dakota Durden, of GRIT Co. will serve as Chair, Caleb Clark, of Edward Jones as the Vice Chair, Tony Trevino, of Vantage Bank as Treasurer, Chuck Gregory, of Terracon as Secretary, and Dr. Phil Hunke, of Hill Country Square as Past-Chair. At – Large Members are Charity Huber of BEC and Phillip Quintanilla of WS & P Insurance.

            The BKCEDC is a 501(c)(6) public, private not-for profit membership organization whose mission is “to promote business opportunities that will strengthen and grow a vibrant and diverse economic future for Kendall County.”
